We know you have many questions about immigration but we are neither lawyers nor immigration experts and therefore we have hesitated to write about immigration issues.
Majority of the legal information that exists on the internet is poorly written and organized. I don’t understand why lawyers write for Jane and Joe Public using big words and legal concepts that most people have never heard of.
Luckily, Rafiki found an excellent immigration blog written by Christina Crudden, an immigration attorney in Philadelphia, PA. I have spent a lot of time reading this blog and I like it!
It is clearly written and well organized in separate topics. Most importantly, Ms. Crudden avoids legalese (the legal mumbo jumbo that most lawyers like to use), which means you can actually understand what she is talking about.
Her blog tackles not only the kind of questions you have discussed with your friends but many other issues that you may not have thought about.
Here are some of the topics she has addressed. Click on each topic to read the full post.
- Do I really need to hire an immigration lawyer?
- Form I-751 while facing Divorce.
- If you have an A- Number, call the Immigration Review Hotline to make sure there are no open issues in your file that you need to address.
- What to do if you have been ordered deported or removed.
- When to schedule an Infopass Appointment and Infopass Do’s and Don’ts.
- Why you should file for US Citizenship.
